About Lisa
Lisa M. Esch
Physicist, Educator, & Scientific Consultant
Lisa M. Esch is a Yale-trained astrophysicist and scientific consultant who translates academic research into practical applications for classrooms, boardrooms, and aerospace programs.
Her research background, recognized by a NASA CT Space Grant, centers on theoretical stellar modeling and asteroseismology in relation to the Kepler Mission. She holds a B.A. in Physics and Astronomy from Northwestern University, alongside an M.Phil. and an M.S. in Astrophysics from Yale University.
In her current role as Upper School Science Department Chair at Carrollwood Day School, she directs the scaling of rigorous physics programs, develops comprehensive International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula, and mentors STEM faculty.
In addition to her academic leadership, she provides fractional consulting and technical advisory services to a nationwide client base. Based in the Tampa Bay area, her consultancy focuses on Florida's expanding aerospace sector—including the Space Coast—as well as state and federal educational and legal institutions.
